markboyce Posted November 8, 2003 Posted November 8, 2003 Excellent!!! Most un-impressed that you've decided to take the "other car" to sea angle however.... Sorry i missed ya this morning, didnt stop drinking till 2am, hence early start didnt happen
the bear Posted November 9, 2003 Posted November 9, 2003 Don't sell it !!!!!! The world needs more big b*******s in Poiple motors!!!
juansolo Posted November 9, 2003 Author Posted November 9, 2003 Big case of CBA. Plus I could do with some new tyres on the back of the Mr2 anyhow. PPE will be out in 2004... I promise... Purple FOREVER!
Paul@Plays-Kool Posted November 10, 2003 Posted November 10, 2003 Get PPE entered in speed series, that way I can do a round in it....did all that work & still not had a chance to thrash it!..s**t it was a LOT of work...I've nearly recovered now though....then Boycey brings me his car.................. Juan, if you need the trailer just say, it's ready to go... Paul
speedypip Posted November 11, 2003 Posted November 11, 2003 Don,t sell it, i,ve still got mine after going through the silly idea of well i don't use it enough, i havn't done more than 5 track days with it this year, it IS A TOY after all. but think of next year , Anglesy, Donington, Cadwell, need i say more And i had sold it potentially twice, i changed my mind when i took the buyers out and showed them what it could do, it gave me such a Buzz i thought why the hell should i sell it !!
juansolo Posted November 11, 2003 Author Posted November 11, 2003 Paul - You love it How many times did the engine come out, then go in, then come out, then go in again when you were trying to make it all fit with the dry sump? I remember popping round that day you looked to be having soooo much fun. Cheers BTW! As for the Speed Series. Wouldn't I need a licence of some description and an FIA cutout? Also I get the feeling I'd be in a fairly scary group with the aeroscreen and being over 2.0ltr... Would I be allowed to use 32R's? I'll let you know if I can get my old man's Freeloader for a week Friday for Anglesea. If I can, I may be bobbing down. Many thanks for the offer! If we ever do manage to get to the same TD/SS event you're always welcome to screw the nuts off it. MrPip - It was the same dilemma for me. I seem to go through this phase annually. Doesn't tend to last long though. Next year might be a bit light on TD's for a while due to the wonga situation. But expect it out a lot more than this year. Don't want to be pasting the hell out of the Mr2 much more, it's supposed to be my road car, not my track car... ...it is shockingly good though...
