Simon Waterfall Syman84 Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Hi all I know different tracks are different lengths and different spec engines use more juice, but on average how much fuel do you all take with you for an average event. Thanks Quote

stephenh Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Do you mean for a sprint meeting, or for a trackday, or a circuit race meeting? Quote
Simon Waterfall Syman84 Posted December 30, 2017 Author Posted December 30, 2017 Sorry should of been clearer for a speed series event Quote
mark.anson Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 A lot depends on how many runs you get. With the bike engined car it has a two gallon tank. I'd fill it for the start of the event and depending on the track that would usually do me for the two practice runs and sometime 1st timed run too. I usually carry a.20ltr can to an event which is usually plenty. 1 Quote
stephenh Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Like Mark says. In fact, even on 2 day events, with a 2 litre engine, a full (small) tank plus a full 20 litre jerry can would do me. Quote
Simon Waterfall Syman84 Posted December 31, 2017 Author Posted December 31, 2017 Ok thanks for the answers guys Quote
B.RAD Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 20 litres will be enough but I always take more - not that I have ever used it apart from for people who haven't got their own! Quote
Kingster Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Last track day I half filled the tank and took 3x 20 litre jerry cans. Reckon I used half of it and still have a good bit in the tank. Quote
