Looks like some serious repairs to Lindisfarne castle taking place.

stayed on Holy Island back in Jan for a few nights. Flippin cold but we had the beaches almost to ourselves.

Yep - no visitors could see the covering from Seahouses.

Even the Seahouses Polar Bear was hiding outside The Ship Inn 

as he wouldn't fit through the door.

But we could   & will be heading back shortly for real ales. A great pub, with a real fire. Just what's needed after being out in the cold.
