Andrew Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 You must be staying at Seahouses? Nice part of the world. Could be getting a bit stormy in the next few days? Quote
Onliest Smeg David Posted December 5, 2017 Author Posted December 5, 2017 Spot on Andrew. Yep, I believe there's 'weather' on the way! But sitting with a good 'beverage' with a good view of the storm will be enjoyable! Quote
Andrew Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Have you sampled Seahouses fish & chips yet? .. or a Craster kipper? Quote
yellow perilous Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 It looks like the same view we had of Seahouses harbour when we stayed there a few years ago. Is there a swimming pool? Quote
Onliest Smeg David Posted December 6, 2017 Author Posted December 6, 2017 No swimming pool, although guest access available to a spa/pool (for if the weather turns) Quote

Onliest Smeg David Posted December 7, 2017 Author Posted December 7, 2017 .... still lots of Sun, but a strong chilling wind. And Bamburgh Castle again, just had to take this with the sun on it... 2 Quote
DamperMan Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 That reminds me of few years back we went to that beach, it was really warm, beautiful soft sand, the sea was warm but there had to be a catch! It was so foggy all day I didn’t dare swim out more than 50 metres. Then we was going to have a look at the castle. But I refused pay to see a fake. The seahouses museum was really interesting and my eldest Was learning about Grace Darling Quote
