TAFKARM Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Back in my JDM loving youth, I had a JDM MR2 Turbo and I fitted an engine cover with two whacking great fans in it. It had no kind of controller, so sounded like it was going to take off. ETA it made no discernible difference to engine temperature. 3 Quote
Nick Mace Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 But it did make it look like the car from Back to the Future. Quote
Andrew Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Were they sucking or blowing? .. they may have added some down force, a bit like the Brabham fan car? Quote
Andrew Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 In my youth, any car I bought got an instant Peco big bore silencer.. Anglia, Imp, Spitfire .. they sounded faster for sure! Quote
Thrustyjust Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Someone will show a picture of their westfield soon and say it sticks like sh** to a blanket because of a splitter 1 Quote
Kevin (Mr T) Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 The splitter I added........made no noticeable difference to the handling, but it's ideal for dicing roadkill 1 Quote
TAFKARM Posted December 5, 2017 Author Posted December 5, 2017 It must be strong, considering the damage its done to the Tarmac! 6 Quote
SXRORY Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Fully chav badged my m3 ......and made it look worse. The wheel badges fell off on the first journey those are the only two left. 1 Quote
SXRORY Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 ∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆ in my defence it was not all bad Big brakes and Billy suspension. Went well! Eye watering when it needed something though 1 Quote
Thrustyjust Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Blimey Kevin. F1 teams will be knocking on your door with vortexes and vacuum created by that beast 1 1 Quote
jeff oakley Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 In my youth, which was longer ago than I would like it to be, the car fashion was Drag car inspired. My Capri had extended rear spring shackles, thrush side pipes and the most pointless of all a red light shinning on the diff and a white light in each wheel well. My perm was the most pointless personal modification!! 2 Quote
Lumme! Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 I installed an ex-RAF Mach Meter on the dashboard of a Mk1 Fiesta 1.1L. I never managed to move the needle (but this was not for want of trying). 3 Quote

Andy Banks Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 It's a splitter; well... as noted, it seems to split tarmac 2 Quote
