samcooke Posted July 3, 2003 Posted July 3, 2003 A seriously huge amount of car for that money. Quick quiz: About six months ago which ex-subaru owner said: 'I always get bored of my cars, but I reckon I'll keep the westy forever'
chrisbin Posted July 3, 2003 Posted July 3, 2003 What a fantastic buy that will be for someone...... Hanslow - wake up!! Anyone else?
neo Posted July 3, 2003 Author Posted July 3, 2003 Aye i know but i fancy a megabusa now and want to built it over the winter, so if i sell it i will if i don't i might convert it or Turbo it, He came all the way up from nottingham yesterday with his mate, said its the best he had ever seen and too cheap but it was too fast for him and was talking limiters and all sorts of stuff, his mate could'nt believe it... it takes all sorts
Hanslow Posted July 3, 2003 Posted July 3, 2003 It's true The car is absolutely mint and excellently engineered. Having found the exact car I wanted at what I consider to be a very cheap price, I drove it and was passengered in it, and after all the hassle I've given everybody on here, finally decided that the Westy experience really isn't for me Rob was very accomodating and makes a smashin' cuppa Someone will get a bargain when they buy it. Back to the drawing board for me for my next set of wheels.....haven't a clue what I will be going for though My loss is someone else's gain I've certainly not seen a better one, and not for this price either.
chrisbin Posted July 3, 2003 Posted July 3, 2003 Hmmmm now how much cash would I have to find to add to my part ex-............. Too much for SWMBO, I'm sure.....
neo Posted July 4, 2003 Author Posted July 4, 2003 Spotted something i fancy actually so just dropped the price a wad now its a seriously cheap car open to offers circular of £9395.00 no bodys got a tin top to do a deal with have they i need a road car soon, mines about goosed. boring family car type tin top though.
Bananaman Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 Neo, Thats one hell of a BARGAIN, far too cheap, I'm sure the factory or Terry Nightingale would give you more that that? Andy P.S. You don't want to buy some 17" BMW wheels with slightly worn tyres & a few curbing incedents do you.
neo Posted July 5, 2003 Author Posted July 5, 2003 it is too cheap but that's the price for a quick sale worth nearer 11k i would say, as for the wheels sold the BM have we ?? never tried Terry nightingale actually
Bananaman Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 worth nearer 11k i would say, Definatley. never tried Terry nightingale actually Give him a ring. as for the wheels sold the BM have we ??No it's a lease car, lease is up in March 2003. adhawkins Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 Light Weight VX powered car about 500kg with 250+bhp & six speed sequential box. And, from what I hear, a blown engine Andy
Bananaman Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 And, from what I hear, a blown engine Make that a freshley re-built engine, well head at least, all checked & ready to go back on the block, which is sitting in my boot a weighting delivery to SBD on Tuesday, then back up to PKM for re-fitting next week, it time for serious testing at Mallory on the 18th..............phew......................
