Tim Reid Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 The ZK type which is the shorter one but send me a picture as I know what I'm looking for. Any condition is fine because I'm planning on recovering it.
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 For avoidance of confusion: ZK crashpad - much narrower 4 inches or so wide, extends all the way round the scuttle from the sills up and over the top. Kit crashpad - much shorter, doesn’t reach down as far as the sills, finishes about level with the bottom of the windscreen pillars. It’s much broader though, it extends all the way forwards to meet the bottom of the windscreen, and is shaped to fit right up to the windscreen uprights.
Tim Reid Posted October 30, 2017 Author Posted October 30, 2017 Yup, I had a 'kit' crash pad and the car looked better without it once an aeroscreen was fitted. I'm now changing over to a ZK scuttle and think the dash to scuttle area needs something to cover it to make it look nice. Hence this wanted. By shorter I'm saying front to back. You are correct that it is also longer, left to right down to the tub. I plan to carbon skin or make from carbon but need a buck to get started. 1
