Chicesulbus Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 (edited) Hi to all! I’m Marco from Italy and I’m looking for my first Westfield. I guess to increase my knowledge on wscc in order to find the right westy for me! Edited October 25, 2017 by Chicesulbus Quote
Kingster Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 Welcome Marco! What kind of car are you looking for? Road, race-track, tourer or a bit of everything? Quote
Chicesulbus Posted October 25, 2017 Author Posted October 25, 2017 Actually a I’m a bit confused, but I think a Road car would be the preferable choice. However I’m oriented on a 130-160 bph engine and a well set up chassis. Quote
Stu Faulkner Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 I’m sure you will be happy with whatever you settle on. Quote
Gary Taylor Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 Welcome from the north of Scotland and good luck with your westfield search Quote
SootySport Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 Marco. Before you buy a Westfield, check your local transport department for restrictions on used car import rules. Other Euro countries do have restrictions on self imported cars we have found out over the years. Other than that good luck in your search. Quote
Alan Cutler (Adge) - Dorset AO Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 from sunny Somerset. Best of luck with your search. Quote
Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 from the Midlands. By strange coincidence one of our Warwickshire Area member's has recently sold his Westfield to some one in Italy! Quote

For this reason for the importation I’ll rely on a specialist that have a lot of experience in this matter. 21 minutes ago, Martyn Vann - Joint Warwickshire AO said: from the Midlands. Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 Yeah, we’ve had a few members in Italy that have brought cars in. Not sure what the exact requirements are, but it can certainly be done. Sorry, forget to say, Welcome! Quote
Chicesulbus Posted October 26, 2017 Author Posted October 26, 2017 Build a new one is impossible here in Italy and a lot of people going to buy in UK! Quote

Yes indeed, that will be Richard's old car. Hope the new owner enjoys it and I hope you can find a great car too. Quote
