I would like to see the MSAs evidence of these so called copies.

Certainly in the case of seats and harnesses there have been several examples published in the MSA News magazine over the last couple of years showing fake copies, with equally fake FIA homologation labels.  it certainly would suprise me if the same companies that are making these "chinese copies" are also faking Hans devices.

The point is that copies ( if they do exist) by thier very nature are designed to be convincing.

So unless every scrutineers has recieved training on each manufacturers devices in how to spot a fake, then the turning up at a meeting with one will no doubt be issued with a sticker to say it's ok.

So therefore a waste of time.

Very difficult to forge the hologram label on a HANS. Much easier to forge the MSA sticker.
