:ww: from Essex.      Good starter car for you and with 260horses :o.    You'll love it on a trackday, comes alive then.     Just be careful in the cold months of the year, they tend to aquaplane on dry roads as well.

The car originally started life with a Zetec engine but the previous owner fancied more power so upgraded to a 260bhp Duratec.  Hopefully won't need any more power than that for a while!

Upgradeitis has started.... have already purchased a passenger seat to match the Tillett Carbon fibre drivers seat and also a set of Avon ZZS tyres for the road / damp track days. Will keep the current ZZR's for the dry track days.

Hiya

Nice car you've got yourself there. I'm interested to know how good the ZZS tyres are? I recently did a track day and have R888's fitted which were fantastic in the dry but was like driving on ice when it rained. I have 13" rims so am little limited in tyre choice but like the look of the Zoe's. Let me know how you get on with them

You'll have to explain that Bernie logic :d

Will be at Abingdon Airfield on the 6th Oct so will let you know how they are if it's wet. Though it will be the first track outing so am praying for dry weather!!
