TAFKARM Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 With regret, im disappointed. I really wanted to like it. Quote
Kingster Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Well, I like it - think that's pretty nice! Quote
Stephen W Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 After having 3 TVR's and a deposit on this. I'm a bit sad. Interest cancelled. Quote
Howsafe Workwear and Safety Equipment Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 I like it - won't say it is making me drool but that's a pretty good look to me - when you see the side profile shots and the rear end it has plenty of WOW about it Honestly think it would look better in just about any other colour to show off the curves - and I don't like the wheels - I think the front could look a bit more aggresive I would like to see one in the flesh, running and moving to get a proper handle on it really - the test mule sounded epic - I hope they have kept the sound Quote

I have a few m8s that also cancelled when they went to the reveal - I think part down to the styling but perhaps mainly down to the cost which seemed to be banded around at the 60k mark when they were laying down deposits and then ended up at 90k Why did you cancel? The cost wasn't the issue. Launch was always going to be close to £100k. The styling was just all wrong, and the interior quality is well down. A modern version of my T350 was what I was after, I have no idea what this one is.... Drive train = great. Everything else seems to be a let down sadly. Quote
BenD Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 I like it. But I does kinda look like a mazda rx8 at the front. But still if I had the money I'd buy one I think Quote
mr_mcp Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 1:26 - have they employed Karl Pilkington as a technician?! Jokes aside, I'm a big TVR fan and I find it very underwhelming (on screen). Having said that, I'm sure in the flesh with that big V8 purring it'll be a different matter. Quote
TAFKARM Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 It looks a heck of a lot better in that video (and in white!) than it does in the still shots I saw this morning. The FD still wouldn't let me have one though. Quote
CraigHew Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 I do like TVRs (and don't mind the look of this new one too much) but I'd be putting that kind of money into an Ultima..... Quote
Thrustyjust Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Aside from the wheels, headlights, front end styling, interior and cost.......................... so................thats most of it................. its fine........... I'll rather an Audi R8 V10, like the one I heard at full chat the other night................. Quote
Howsafe Workwear and Safety Equipment Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 I think a few may warm to this new TVR - this video does it a bit more justice Quote
Thrustyjust Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Wheels do look better on the concept car in all black. Not sure 90 grand for a fiesta steering column is good and the steering wheel looks like my Skoda wheel with a new badge stuck on. Quote
Captain Colonial Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Watching that video, I must be getting old. When the unveiling took place, my first thought was about the woman posing by the door and how I wished the brainless bint would move out of the way so I could see the car. Quote
