Good old TVRGlen

Ahh - he never ceases to amaze me!

Must admit, he does his best to keep the price of our cars up :d

"Easy fix" very suprised he hasn't polished the damage out himself.

The scary thing is he probably does "shift" these cars on to people.....

Must have been abroad, with tape on the headlights etc. 'If' there isnt any chassis damage , then it 'might' be a decent repair as Cat D isnt a marker.Cat C will show chassis damage as will need major repair work.  Doesnt need an MOT inspection, just repair and off you go. Now, I know how that buisiness works, but I suspect you will need upright, wishbones, shock, nosecone, wheel , tyre and consumables , which could amount to £3k or so and some people here willy wave how their car is worth gazzilions more than what someone will actual pay for it, so a 5k mile car with throttle bodies and everything at that age, should sell for about the money he is asking. To build a Zetec car new would be about £18k , at a guess with nice dash and seats and split rims.

He got that from copart in Wolverhampton. I'm not sure what the final price was but the last time I looked it was upto 6250. And those are the pictures from the advert on coparts website

Here's a good clue for you,  boys and girls - if the seller either can't spell certain words in an ad correctly or be bothered to spell check his ad, you might want to keep looking.  I'm sure there is no "chasssis" or "susention" damage as no car ever made has either of these things, but there might be chassis or suspension damage that hadn't been found yet.  Much like crushed brake or fuel lines from the use of a forklift truck as a hoist.

I would dearly love to say something unfavourable about TVRGlen, but I'm not here to make work for the Moderation Team - well, not much more work. :d  But the fact I have to bite my tongue should be a sufficient note to others.

Why is he talking about repairing the fibreglass ready for painting? This will be gelcoat fibreglass, so no-one in the know will want the nose cone and wing to be painted! They need replacing to match the rest of the car.

cling film is the new duct tape ....

The one I originally looked at was described the same me when I went to view he was cutting the front end off and welding new box section to the chassis!
