juansolo Posted February 6, 2003 Posted February 6, 2003 Right then. I've heard from a little bird that the person resposible for the crime against style that is the Westie shown below, lurks here. I challenge you now to show yourself and explain those wheels! Not to mention the red brush painted dial bezels, the red painted seat piping, the purple painted calipers on the front and red painted ones on the rear. Oh and not forgetting the upturned boot spoiler diffuser... Hang your head in shame! Quote

juansolo Posted February 6, 2003 Author Posted February 6, 2003 What's the "diffuser" from? Gawd knows. Something classy like a Vauhall Belmont no doubt Quote
Warren E Smith Posted February 7, 2003 Posted February 7, 2003 If I remember rightly some German Chap put an electrically adjustable diffuser (variable angle of attack) onto his V8 westie didn't he? and it made a huge difference to stability. So maybe this guy was at least partly in the right direction? Look forward to seeing the car when someone has massively improved it through giving it a "carbon effect" look. Instant carbonisation kits are available from Texaco, Shell, BP Process takes about 1 minute 5 litres Unleaded 1 box matches Sorted Quote
