Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 14 minutes ago, Jitterbug said: great photo Martyn, i used to work in Smethick of all places so might have to pop up at the next meet and see Geoff's yellow peril. Geoff's car looks super clean. Anybody know what the bonnet scoop is for? I assume to allow room for a single carburetor on top of the crossflow engine, which would not be required if you ran twin webbers as they are flatter. Thanks Mike Geoff's car does have twin 40's on now but it is very much a period car. It is used regularly on the road and some track days, including up the hill at Shelsley Walsh! Quote

If there is any southwest kit car gatherings then please let me know and I will try and come along. Not going to be driving mine for a while.. But I'll start a build thread soon. Still building mine, and enjoying every step. You're more than welcome to pop in any time you're heading south, just give a shout. I've started going to the Dorset meets on the south coast, have been made very welcome by the Dorset crew. Highly recommend a build thread, a wealth of friendly experience available on the forum.
