At the "Planning" stage all the safety furniture would have been there. But if you read the article you see its being done by a house builder as part of a development. So the plans would have included families having picnics, trees and flower beds, children flying kites and unicorns dancing under rainbows. The "As built" is a dozen wild boar rooting about in an upturned skip... Typical chuffing house builders Quote
Lyonspride Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 And the council seems more interested in the abandoned vehicles........ Quote
John K Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 When I used to go to Libya for work (before it all got silly) there was a road with a hair pin bend near our compound. And on the same bend was a farmers field with a wall. No lights, no signs, no cats eyes - so on a regular basis cars would crash through the wall letting the goats out. The farmer came up with the best bit of lateral thinking I have ever witnessed. He built an earthen ramp up the road side of the wall, so the cars would fly over the wall and land in the field and be stuck there. He would then claim the cars and sell them... Should I email the suggestion to the council? Quote
