Ianboom Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 I'm after a half hood for a Westfield with a MSA roll bar. Not sure whether the RAC hood will fit. Trying to get soft bits to make one but they're unsure how to fix it at the rear as my rear bar supports are enclosed and they're busy!
kenton Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Soft bits recently made a half hood for my cage and used a velcro cuff that went around the tube. There is a velcro 3m pad stuck to the tube for it to grip on. Works a treat! Kenton 1

I haven't spoken to them for over a week and they didn't reply to an email I sent, so I'll have to phone them next week.

I spent ages preparing it in primer and it was perfect (unfortunately I'm really fussy!), however the guy who sprayed it made a bit of a mess-the colour match is ok, but it's very orange peely! Ian.
