Ali and Gail Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 So we had a 2 day stop over in Meva as the locals call it so nothing exiting to report in terms of miles. After 4 days of moving from place to place you need a rest and a night off and too much cider is always welcome. We stopped at Meva for 2 days so we could go see 2 things, the lost gardens of Heligon and the Eden project. We are so glad we did. I know most of us prefer driving than walking but don't come this far and not go! It's also a great place to stop, a typical Cornish fishing harbour. We are just out side St Austell tonight before we start our journey back to Brum cross country tomorrow, we don't need to go home but sometimes you want your own bed and make a brew in your kitchen. Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Did you manage to get to the theatre. I have been to the Eden Project a few times but never been to the Lost Gardens. Do you have any more pictures of the Lost Gardens that you can post up. 1 Quote

We didn't make the theatre this time, I under estimated that day coming down from Tintagel and we didn't make Lands End till 5pm and the mist had rolled in. We still had to then get to Mousehole. It will need to be next time. I will find more photos and put them up later. 8 hour drive cross country back to Brum now Quote
Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 That would be great to see some more pictures. If you are passing Hereford then I can meet you and buy you a cup of tea. No worries if not 1 Quote
