Two months into ownership and I'm absolutely loving the Westfield!

It was standing under a tarp for a  few years before I collected, so I have being making sure everything is ok, and tidying things up mechanically, before I get onto the cosmetics.

So far, I've done a  couple of oil changes, flushed the brake fluid out twice (it was bitter coloured!), flushed the cooling system out and replaced the hoses, thermostat and housing, rad cap and used pre mixed coolant (I swear by Toyota Red for corrosion inhibition) Changed the spark plugs, rocker cover gasket, exhaust gasket, ignition coil, and cleaned and recharged the K&Ns Tempted with a new water pump, the old one is ok, but quite heavily corroded. I've also been replacing a few choice corroded nuts and bolts with stainless hardware, and have a polished alloy rocker cover on the way.

The car drives well, and I've covered well over 500 miles so far. It looks like all the leaks are sorted (well, rear diff, and driveshaft boots still need attention) so I'll start on the over all tidying up process. (I'm waiting for the winter to get the suspension arms powder coated, and wheels refurbed as I don't want to miss a day of sun at the moment!)

We went of out first road trip on Monday, - 200+ mile round trip down to Lulworth! Even the girlfriend loved it, and didn't complain once about being cold and windswept (the roadtrip was her idea!)
