corsechris Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 So, global temps are rising less quickly. Ah, that's fine then...... It really is a crying shame that these organisations don't stick to their own standards - it does nobody any good. If things get really bad and the Gulf Stream plays up, we are going to get proper cold winters, more like New York. Global warming would probably make our average temperatures lower, ironically. Personally speaking, I have no investment in the future, so as long as it doesn't go all apocalypse in the next 20 to 30 years (assuming I live that long), I'm good. I do have sympathy for those with offspring though as they are the ones who will have to live with our profligacy. I confess to being a sceptic for a long time, but I think there is enough gross evidence for even the least academic of us to twig something ain't right. Quote

Thrustyjust Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 Perfect temps for a Westie blat this afternoon instead of watching the Snoozeprix at Silverstone in Berkshire . Apparently the damage caused by my fuel burning is minimal to the amount of violent noisy flatulence I create on a continual basis , according to the wife, so when I am 6 ft under, global warming will slow down anyway................. 1 Quote
