Rab (bombero) Reid Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 The event organiser have been on the phone to remind me to get my finger out for names of those who wish to pop their cars on the Club stand this year. Same rules apply as previous years:- Limited to 12 places max Need to be on site sharpish on the day ie 08:30 No vehicle movements (ie no escaping) until end of show (circa 16:30) This event has gone from strength to strength and promises to be larger than ever, so start building up your brownie points! This is a great way to round of the year with a bit of a blether, coffee and burgers .. and watching Alastair drag his sewing machine up the hillclimb! Rab (bombero) Reid Posted July 19, 2017 Author Posted July 19, 2017 A shameless thread bump .. Guys, I'm needing more names ASAP! This is a great wee get-together as we near the end of the main events of the year. The organiser is obviously looking for details so I'm being pressed for confirmation.. Quote
ziplob Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Peoples Ford are at the show and will have on display the new Ford GT first time in Scotland for the car along with Ford event road show . 1 Quote
Matta Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 Rab - Are you needing registration numbers again for this year? If so, mine is Q928 VAB. For anyone who hasn't been to this before, as Rab says, it's a great day out with the 'classics' show at the top of the hill and a huge selection of pre-72 machinery in the paddock and competing in the hillclimb. See http://www.bonesshillclimb.org.uk/ for details. Cheers, Matt 1 Quote

Let's all buy ice creams and approach the stand en masse .. see if we can get the staff all wide eyed and worried again! 12 minutes ago, Matta said: Rab - Are you needing registration numbers again for this year? Every previous year, I've had to beat off interested parties with a stick, but not this year?? Quote

Rab (bombero) Reid Posted August 23, 2017 Author Posted August 23, 2017 Okay, so the final list is 9 attendees and we're limited to a stand measuring 12m x 12m and will definitely need to bunch up. Those listed in the first post must remember to email me your car data sheets if you haven't already done so. As I'll struggle to get anything more in the car on top of the gazebo, if someone could bring a spare camping chair for me, that'd be great! Quote
Matta Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Rab - What's the plan for meeting up beforehand - Boness firestation @ 8.00am? Quote
