Starter Motor Power (Zetec Blacktop)

Due to the proximity of the starter motor to the exhaust manifold, the path that the power cable from the battery to the starter motor is quite important. Does anyone have any pictures of how they ran their cable?

Bit about it on my build blog not had any issues so far.

Sorry I've no pictures, but when I had a side exit exhaust manifold (bonnet exit now), I routed it down and underneath the starter before coming up to the battery. I never experienced the heat soak issue others have. You could run it through foil tube if need be.
