Luckily I'll be in a convoy with "normal" cars, although there will be a chap on a Harley and we'll be competing for everybody else's spare space. I need to pack smart... the Alps with no heater could be fun.. my biggest concern is fogging up if I need the roof on! One thing I'll add is that I recommend the LED fuses that Halfrauds sell. Easy to spot an issue in an unideal climate, especially with unlabelled fuse boxes! along with the really obvious torch, I have a compact LED head one, that works a treat when you have broken things in the dark.. Hi again, we met last year at Silverstone, glad to see your getting on a road trip. Are you using a full or half hood, we only use half hood, it's more than enough whether it's freezing cold or belting down. We also use half doors and wind deflectors all the time but take full door as well for the very wet or cold days to stop wind chill. We store them behind one of the seats. No fogging problem either with a half hood and Rainex inside and out of your windscreen. Enjoy Quote
