SXRORY Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 Had my car since Jan and loving it so far but never really got on with the brakes. I did a track day at llandow and although it was great fun, I felt like I had to brake early. As it was twin master cylinder and un servo'd many said about giving it a good press was normal. Well cut a long story short I finally got round to changing the fluid tonight Literally got about 2 inches of pedal back. Lol Drums at the back where full of black fluid and quite a bit of air so giving me loads of travel on the bias bar. Can't wait to go for a drive now. Quote
Thrustyjust Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 One thing that does get overlooked . I will be flushing mine annually for the 30 mins and an easibleed , while the wheels are off. Quote
SXRORY Posted June 16, 2017 Author Posted June 16, 2017 Used an ezibleed too, great contraption, but took me quite a bit longer than 30 minutes. Footwell panel off ...remove catch tank.... Undo steering column just to get at get at the cylinders. Rusty bleeders on the drums so had to go careful Probably why it was long overdue Quote
