maurici Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Hello Gents. I was going to proceed by my own... but thought better to ask. My class for Blyton weekend (as westfield structures it) should be 2D(equivalent to B2 wsscSpeed Series). If I enter to this class, I think I’ll be competing Against my own… best Scenario, against Another westfield (no more B2 in Speed series this year). Technically speaking, my car is compliant with 2F (usual MSA 2B class where I’m always in). Rather have a bit of fun and competition, than win by my own in a desert class. I’m I allowed to do that? Onliest Smeg David Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Would have thought you have to be in correct class, otherwise an 'unscrupulous' (which you clearly are not) competitor could move classes to ensure receiving a class win or award. Purchase some 2nd hand 1C or slicks, then car will have to be in higher class. Higher classes require Hans, can't remember if you already have hans. Quote
maurici Posted June 5, 2017 Author Posted June 5, 2017 Wait a minute Dave... I think you have not well understood my question... (Or more likely I've written it very poorly) I'm allways in MSA 2B (WSCC sprint weekend class 2f. This is the one I want to enter, Roadgoing kit and spaceframed cars over 1700cc). Is what my car is compilant and where I compete every weekend. So is actually my class and the people I compete every weekend against. As Is the westfield weekend, this time, we put westfields Aside. That is Super cool if you have someone else to fight. If you dont, isn't cool, is sad. That is why i dont want to be in my westfield aside class and want to go to my MSA class to play with all. 1 Quote
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 I don't see the problem with that. Go for it Quote
Onliest Smeg David Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Now I'm with the program Maurici! & agree with John Quote

graham frankland Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Hi Maurico It is John Williams who needs to decide if you can run in higher class at Blyton e.g. F as opposed to B2! Class F is Modified Class under MSA Regs S12 As a result you will need an MSA log book and a Hans device Hope this helps Graham Quote
mark.anson Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 I might still warm your tyres for you Adam. 1 Quote
XTR2Turbo Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 can you not enter a road going car (taxed and MOT) in modified (with 1A or 1B tyres) without log book and hans? Is it set by the class entered or the spec of the car? Otherwise I will need to enter a non WSCC specialist road going class rather than WSCC Class F as probably no time to get a log book sorted. Is sequential box allowed in class 2F? Quote
