Love that 3.0 bmw straight six engine. I've often thought it would make a superb kit car engine.

Yep, I am pleased with it so far, put about 70 miles on it this weekend

About time you saw the error of your ways Gary.  I was beginning to give up all hope of you seeing sense, but you finally got there - a car with a chrome grille trim ring, chrome door handles and massive chrome front wing vents.  Good to know you weren't beyond salvation. :d

There's some great polish you apply once and never have to worry about the chromework again. Google "Z3 carbon fibre"...

Good for 10bhp too.

Cracking isnt it.

I didnt consider a 3l  Z4 as my daily, before buying an x-reg 330ci instead, love it. Imola red, clubsport spec.

I have been busy tidying up the car.

Tonight I finished correcting and polishing the paintwork. It's my first time using a DA polishing machine and I am very pleased with the results :cool:

Dax also use the straight 6 beemer unit in their cars - had one at Stoneleigh
