Lakeland Motor Museum, 2nd July.

Anyone fancy a trip up to the Lakes on Sunday 2nd July, with a visit to he Lakeland Motor Museum?

We can get a reduced entry fee (£6.80, instead of £8.50) if we can get at least 20 people. I'm planning to go along the A65 through Skipton, Kirby Lonsdale etc and a small tour around the lake including a ferry crossing (£4.40 per car). Pick up points can be arranged along the way, the route will be approx. 180 miles from Leeds to Leeds.

More details about the museum here,https://www.lakelandmotormuseum.co.uk/

Sounds like a great day out ... count me in assuming the weather isn't a total wash out.

I might be ok for this depending on the weather and start time as I will be setting off from Scarborough.

Route and timings sorted.

Leave Fox and Grapes at 10:00 and head up the A65 to meet @Dave (OnliestSmeg) - Joint Manchester AO at Hellifield 11:15ish, carry on to the museum and arrive 12:30. The museum and café are expecting us where we will be able to park in the grounds rather than in the car park with all the boring cars. If we get 18-20 people we get a discounted entry. After the museum, we will head up to Bowness via the ferry (£4.40 per car, I think) then on to Windermere, passing Kendal and home back along the A65 again,

Who's coming?
