Middleton Hall near Tamworth, Sunday 4th June

Well that must be another month gone as it is the Middleton Motors meet again already on Sunday!

Anyone fancy joining us? The times are stated as 11 until 4pm but many cars start arriving around 10am and begin leaving around 1pm for lunch, there are no restrictions and it is an entry fee of £4 per car. The weather looks ok, cloudy but not wet so I expect to be there from 10ish. Further details in the local events calendar or go to the Middleton Hall Website.

We will probably go for a run for lunch and maybe continue in the afternoon to end up at the Black Country Area meet for around 7pm if anyone wants to join us later?

If the lunch includes a cake stop, then we will come along.

We were thinking of Fradley Junction for lunch and cake!

I am sure your navigator could find it ok! However, we could meet at the sex shop just along the A5 from the services or at the toilets on the services, your choice? Around 9.30?

oooh, in true Westfield style, can we meet at the toilets please sir? and then you can show us where the sex shop is on the way to Fradley. It has to be at the toilets because you will be in the company of the Westfield Incontinence Society.

The conversation is nosediving already, what on earth will tomorrow be like??? Lots of silliness I think.

Oh yes, a day full of cars, cake and silliness. Both Martyn and Sue pointed out where the sex shop was, very close to when they pointed out where they live, actually

We parked up at Middleton Hall, flags a flying, and within a few minutes Kevin arrived and parked with us. We went for breakfast butties and coffee before taking off to look around the cars. Martyn dived off to talk to the other 2 Westfield owners that arrived separately, and that live locally, both of which said would come to the Curborough Breakfast Meet next Saturday, so well done Martyn.

After a quick visit into the Hall we headed off for cake lunch at Fradley Junction canal cafe

After a great day out we headed back up through the Peak District, while Martyn and Sue set off West to the black country meet. I hope they encountered all the lovely sunshine that we did on the way home. We were expecting to have to put the roof on, but the skies cleared and it was warm and sunny.
