Curborough Breakfast Meet, Sat 10th June

The ladies in Lycra came past my house yesterday afternoon towards the end of the race (it finished about 1 km from my front door).  Unless you live on an uphill climb section of the course, Glen will be disappointed as they went past me so fast that there was absolutely no time to admire their athletic attributes - it was over in less than ten seconds.  The number of support vehicles, police cars and motorbikes, ambulances and the lot outnumbered the cyclists 2:1.

Raining hard here at the moment, too. Will give it another half an hour and see how the weathers going...

Well the forecast for this area is generally dry fo the rest of the day. We will be setting off in about half an hour, hope the weather improves for you!

Still heavy here, so might give it a miss.

its due to clear up around ten or so, so might have a run out somewhere then. (Really just need to do a few shake down miles after the rad mount change etc).

Well it was a bit of a Billy-no-mates situation at Curborough!

However, one of the guys we met at Middleton Hall last weekend turned up to keep us company, so thanks Pete!

There were some interesting bikes and sidecars taking part in a sprint. I think this guy must have lost some parts to his locost?

For those bike fans here are a few interesting ones among the plethora of super motard stuff.

My personal favourite was this Kawasaki S2, a three cylinder 2 stroke 350cc. What a fantastic sound, it took me back to my early biking on 250, 500 and 750 versions of this machine!!!
