Used sprint slicks in 13"

Hi goodly folk of the WSCC

I'm after a set of used sprint slicks in 13", width not too important but narrow is fine, to suit 7" rims ideally. 

Only wanted for an experiment so they don't need to have too much life left, enough for one event will be fine!

You will need crisply slicks due to your car being live axle

I don't have any suitable

You need to look at rear size to make sure gearing is ok for top speed/acceleration etc

i have plenty of 205/570/13 formula ford  dunlops slicks in with loads of tread on them . but really need 8.5 rim i think for £25 each but they are a medium compound for racing . not good for sprints need a lap to warm up

also have1 pair 180/530/13   hankook tyres which have done only 2 laps at snetterton  £35 each

also 210/570/13 hankooks done the same £35

 

alos pair brand new dunlops 205/570/13 not used but mounted on wheels @£50 each

Thanks for the reply! Are these all radials? If not, what compound are the hankooks please?

Been advised by Tel and John to go for cross-ply as I'm on a live axle, so ideally looking for those.

no mine are all radials  hankooks are also a medium compound to last race distance

7 inch rims are your limiting factor Barny. Avoid race compound radials if I were you. 7/22/13 and 7/21/13 crossplys fit the bill if you only have 7 inch rims

got some michelin 16/530/13 but thay are radial X FR2.0

good fit for 7" rims slight cracking to side walls but loads of tread left and would be good for testing.

i also have  pair of 175/530/13 in soft A15 compound but said terry could have them for free

Thanks for the offer but really after cross-plys. I have a load of trackday slicks already, so specifically looking for sprint compound cross-ply slicks to suit a 7" rim.

will take them to blyton  so you can fight over them .  they are last years so pretty new . but have had a hard live with understeer . and are cold torn . but may clean up if run in the wet
