Mitre Saw or Band Saw

Compound mire saw, I acquired a chop saw quite a while ago when a friends work shop was closed. When that expired it was replaced by a compound mire saw, I don't have to use the compound feature too much but when I do it's invaluable. I also have a table circular saw that I inherited from my dad but in reality, though in some cases it would be more tricky, I could use a hand circular saw to achieve the same results, if that one broke I wouldn't rush to replace.

Have got the same evolution saw with the multi purpose blade. Slices through wood, steel, ally - first class.

Cut some 40mm diam solid steel  bar to go in the lathe . No problem.

I've even found a tidy little place to store when not in use. It just means I have a boat load of spirits to get through to free up the space. What I save on beer will pay for the rest of the stuff I need!

Here's mine sitting on the freshly built movable bench built using said saw :d (random stuff just dumped on it for now whilst "decorating" the garage :p)

Good God Darve,

Even your hoover is clean..!

So the thing you use to clean things with is clean... This suggests a level of organisation and pride I cannot even begin to aspire to...

Gorgeous looking thing! So far I've used it to cut through some pallets to make some planters for the garden but have some mild on order so then fun can really begin!
