The Expert Sunday only is for the Novice entry.

How come Mick Dent is an expert in his first year of competing in the SS? Has he done something previously that is not commonly known?

To answer John's question, I put myself down in the Experts!

Previous history is several years playing around on track days, then at the end of last year I entered 4 hill climbs, 3 at Harewood (my local hill) and my first one was Oliver's Mount - various people thought I was mad doing this as my first experience, but I enjoyed it, came last in class, but came back for more.

I will leave it with the 'committee' to decide if this is the correct class.

I think its having competed at 25 or more events that gets you classed as an expert Mick. In at the deep end hey? :o

So therefore should be Novice, unless Mick wants to be in expert or times in those are v good! (Equivalent to high 90s scores against TTs)?????

I'm in Novice at 23 sprints,  just handful of track days (note to self - 'should do more')

Having seen Mike drive and talked with him about his very interesting Motorsport background I believe Expert to be the correct and fair classification for Mike.

In addition I think Mike should be applauded for his openess and honesty from the outset!

Well done Mike

I don't think there are too many novices that could drive a 30.x second run at Shelsley

You are missing Mike West's Novice time for Sat at Shelsley. He was there and did try to compete!:p

Thanks

I did not pick that up as on Sat he was not shown as a Westfield member so will add it to results
