Who said B&D were rubbish? inherted from my dad as well. I still have my orange 2 speed B&D (no hammer) that I use as a backup - I've had it from new (bought for next to nothing from a friend on a "back of a lorry" deal in 1973 ). It may be only about 300w but it's solid and the mechanical gears work a treat - not bad for its age !! (unlike me - I was 21 in 1973 and now falling apart ). Quote
Lyonspride Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 I fairly recently bought a mid-ranged Makita combi and binned my older drills, this and a decent pillar drill is all I can see me needing...... Maybe get an SDS some day, but I can recall once in maybe 6 years where where i've ever needed one. Quote
