I'm a very proud dad today after watching my lad (14) cross the line after a hard 35 mile hike across Dartmoor . At one point this morning we didn't think they would make the 5.00 PM cut off time as there check point time were really slow  and we had no Idea why as there is no communication with the team's. Unfortunately one of the their team was suffering with bad blisters on his feet the team helped him for around 10 mile Trying to get him to the finish, but I'm the end he crashed out as he knew he going to stop the team finishing .in the end the remaining 5 made up time and finished with 55 minutes spare.

I take my hat off to the 2500 teenagers that took part in it and and the Army , Navy and Dartmoor rescue team and all the volunteers that put this event together and watch over everyone .

What a great adventure.

I would have loved to do something like that at his age.
