New owner in Weston Super Mare

Hello,

After selling my last Westfield in 2013,i always seemed to miss it.Nothing else would be such an event to drive and seem tame in comparison.

By chance I looked on the WSCC site when Stuart (potster) had just put his car up for sale.Seeing that it had a full rollcage made it ideal as i could happily take my kids out in it.So after a phone call to Stuart the sale was sorted and i picked the car up on sunday.:d

Thanks again to Stuart for all of his help.

Hopefully there are some more owners in the area,as it would be great to meet up.

Cheers,Dave

:ww: You're obviously addicted! Photos of your new pride and joy would be good.

I'm in the midst of building my first Westfield just south of you on the levels near Bridgwater. Give a shout and pop in for a drink if you're out for a run down this way. We've got two boisterous dogs, but we, and they, are friendly!!

There is the summer action day at castle Combe this year which WSCC Cotswold are attending. Might be worth a visit.

Went to the April one. They are good shows for sure however for the track sessions they put too many cars out for my liking. Takes a while to get heat into the tires in a westy so was overtaken by some in the first couple laps. Once I actually had some grip they don't want to let you through as they think they are quicker grrrrrrrrr

Welcome from Cheddar, not too far away from you.  I'm rebuilding my '97 SEi at the moment.

Cotswold are holding a track day near Cardiff at the end of Summer, which I have in my sights.

My sister lives down by Huntspill,so i will message you Adge next time i am going there.

Track day sounds good,i have never done one before. So the one near Cardiff should be ideal, seems i am a novice.

Please do. We're often away for a few days this time of year, so please don't think I'm ignoring you if I'm slow in replying. Just means no wifi wherever we are!
