Now Sold - Brand New Never Used Set of Compomotive CX-R alloy wheels in grey and 8 brand new R888 tyres

Hi All, 

          When I brought a new Westfield recently and the previous owner did a deal with me on some extras he had in his garage which included a set of 4 brand new compomotive CRX alloys with 8 brand new R888 tyres which had never even been fitted onto a car. I think the wheels are CRX 1380's and there are two sizes (narrower for the front, wider for the back for quicker turn in) All of the alloys are 13" and there are 2 that are 205mm wide and 2 that are 225mm wide PCD 4x108 . In addition there are 4 brand new Toyo Proxes R888 GG tyres 225x45xR13 and another 4 brand new Toyo Proxes R888 GG tyres 205x60xR13. There are also 2 wheel spacers if required. 

 I would prefer to sell the whole lot to one person but if it doesn't work out I would consider splitting them up. 

 The alloys are around £500 brand new as these are and the tyres are around £400 a set of which there are 2 sets so its over £1,300's worth of brand new stuff which I would part with £1k or nearest offer. 

I've never been able to upload photos onto this forum but I've got loads of photos I can send via email or mobile phone if any interested parties send me their details. 

 I will be at Wiscombe Hillclimb in a couple of weeks if that helps anyone who is interested. I would just need to take a small deposit (£50) and then I could take them with me for collection at Wiscombe? Alternatively they can be collected anytime from Padstow in Cornwall or palletized and sent via courier. There is a very reasonable pallet force style company near us.

     They are Grey (looks like a gun metal grey just listed as grey on the compomotive site)

Have you tried since the forum update?

It's a doddle now - just hit the "choose files" link or drag them in with your mouse. You can even add them via your mobile camera without saving them first!

Chris you weren't wrong mate. That's brilliant you have changed the system. I spent hours once trying to upload pics with photo bucket and although I do realise that was more because I am useless with computers the new system is a piece of cake,even for me. Thanks!

I so want the CXR's - just have to have them as next year's upgrades! (over spent this past year with BGH Gearbox, Aim dash, DTA ECU, carbon this and that and then - bought a trailer!)

(Shame 2 are 2 wide for me  as looking at some stage to move to 13" for both my sets of wheels rather than mix 13" and 15")

Can you clarify rim sizes and offsets please. Rims look like 8js from photos but are they all the same? . Ditto with offsets please

Just to confirm as the advert is very confusing.

 

There are 4 CXR's with 4 tyres fittet to them. (2 x 225 and 2 x 205)

There are 4 spare tyres. (2 x 225 and 2 x 205)

 

In the ad is kind of reads like there could be 12 tyres all together.
