Really great meeting you gents I'm a firm attendee

but driving back and got near my house (thank god) the back left drive shaft sheared the lady two remaining bolt holding it in place and dropped (thank god again that I was in pootle mode and just wafting along)

swift use of my t-shirt and belt and she's back in the garage now ready for me to narrow my eyes and swear ALOT at it

great day that ended a bit balls but ah well.

what was it you were saying about one thing after another Dave? ;)

Aye it's mint

really lucky it was at a very slow moment waiting on traffic, its missing 4 out of the six that hold it in place

two have sheared the ends of the bolts in the diff. All in all a bit balls.

Ill get her on on the road in a week or so

good to meet you mate :)

I think so :)

sldo it's a T5 gearbox not a type 9 (I'm still learning the car )

and a 3.9 sierra diff

T5 are great I have one too :)

Great shift compared to r380 and good long ratios for economy ;)

Just be careful with the slave cylinder and keep an eye on the clunch reservoir.

Can't understand how the bolts came out your driveshaft but do use threadlock when you get more.

Mine did 25000 hard miles before needing new cv joints and only then did they come out.

I have standard rear granada/cosworth shafts so you don't need uprated ones if you need new.

If you need them and I hope you don't,  this company refurbished my lsd https://www.tracsport.com.

They may do parts too if you need them.
