20 year itch

Hi Folks,
I built a Westie in 1997 with my own concoction of salvaged parts and took it to track days for a few years.  Shortly after, wife and kids occurred and Westie was effectively put into retirement.

However now the kids are big enough to help, we're going to start making another Westie, this time with the luxury of all new parts from the factory.

I'm based in Cheddar - anyone close by?

Steve.

Sorry, I'm not in cheddar but:ww:

Stoneleigh kit car show is on this Sunday Monday and the factory may be doing offers.

Even if there not it's a perfect opertunity to see a large number of cars and owners all in one place.

:ww:  Sounds like you're an old hand, should be easy! This club and forum is a great resource I'm finding.

I'm part way through building my first Westfield, not very far south of you on the levels, near Bridgwater.

I'm in Yeovil, if you look on the members map there's about 1/2 dozen members clustered around Bridgwater.

Hi Steve,

The name sounds familiar and your first build would have been around the same time as mine so maybe we exchanged ideas back then?

Anyway, welcome back and good luck with the new build.

Kevin
