Morning All,

Just purchased my first Westfield SEIW 2.0l and looking for recommendations for decent garage services, rolling road setups, meet ups, etc, in the Worcester area.

If anyone wants to say hello and drop me some knowledge...that'd be great. Hope to see some of you around the area soon.

Cheers!

Don't think there's any meets in Worcester but you have the Warwickshire & Black Country meets not to far away.

There's  a  run out to the Heritage centre next week & Stoneliegh the week after.

Hope to see you about

Cheers All, looking forward to getting out and about at some of these events and catching up soon. If anyone has any recommendations (either local or online) for parts, paint, tuning, etc, feel free to let me know as although I don't need anything yet...I'm sure I will down the line!

Coleford carnival of transport tomorrow, little bit of a drive but there will be a few Westys there, mine included

I'm in Worcester too and attend the Cotswold area meets.  Lots of stuff planned this season.  There's a Hereford area meet occasionally too - which is always sparsely attended but it's a lovely run to the meeting venue on a sunny evening.  Serviced and polished mine over the weekend just waiting for a decent sunny day

@Stuart Excellent! Looking forward to getting out and about a bit more and meeting a few more enthusiasts! It's my first one and I'm already hooked.

I'm just outside Evesham but being a misthanthropic old curmudgeon I rarely go to meetings. I'm not averse to chatting with the odd individual though. Odder the better, for their sake that is.

Welcome Snowman, I am also in Worcester (Claines), currently on my 2nd Westfield.  Happy to meet up for a pint and a chat sometime.  Cotswold meet is the closest I think, but I'm not overly sociable and work a lot, so have not actually made a meet, but do intend to this year.

I tend to run mine (less often than Id like!) for a few short weekend drives, the odd commute and 5 or 6 track days a year - that's the plan anyway.  She's currently in the garage getting tuned and rolling roaded to try and diagnose a running problem I've had for the last few months!

I'm just up the road in Kidderminster haven't been to a meet as work long hours. Looking at getting to some track days this year tho.

Hi, I'm in Leominster and I sometimes make it along to the Herefordshire meetings. As well as my car we've got a family project Westfield,  which my son "looks after"...

My garage and tuner/rolling road recommendations are over this way -

Oldfields Garage in Leominster for MOT and all other work. Paul Benson the owner has built kit cars and is currently building a ford anglia special, the whole team really know their stuff. It's a family business that I've used for over 25 years, they've won garage of the year and I think that says enough about how good they are.

More specialist tuning is from CMC tuning in Wellington,  they are performance and motor sport specialists,  running rally cars and working with pickup racing and BTCC teams. They checked my corner weighting and have access to a rolling road.

Parts are from local independent motor factor TM Factors in Leominster and Hereford

I hope that helps.

Welcome to the club.

Cheers everyone, great to know there are a few like minded souls around locally and thanks for the recommendations on garages. The more the merrier just in case! Hope to see a few of you around and I'll be posting some pics once I've made a few tweaks, she's had a proper polish, etc. Just out of curiosity, anyone know of any good Westfield paint matching places or a chip/scratch repair kit from somewhere like Halfords that's relatively close to the Electric Blue gel coat Westfield do? Not expecting exact miracles from the latter but enough to take the eye of a couple of tiny chips, cracks.
