Stephen W Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 I've got mine waiting to fit. I just want a bit of inspiration on how to best position them and how to stop them damaging the tub. Quote
Olliebeak Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 Here is a pic of mine, I dropped in the hinges and then lined up the deflector to the tub, I had some small stick on pads at the very bottom of the deflector where it touches the tub. The deflectors work well with half doors. . Quote
Captain Colonial Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 Best way to stop them damaging the tub is simple - get a 2 cm long piece of clear tubing (windscreen washer fluid sprayer type), split it lengthwise and put it around the lower edge. Invisible and simple. 4 Quote

Invisible and simple. Perhaps not best! This is what I did initially BUT although improved there is still worn gel coat through flexing movement of deflectors. My temporary fix of a pad made of Duck Tape on the bodywork solved this, and has turned permanent. A clear see through pad would do job and look better. Quote
CraigHew Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 Not the best photo angle but I had some black edging in the garage already. Been on 3 seasons now and works a treat. Quote
