Popular Post andy665 Posted April 9, 2017 Popular Post Posted April 9, 2017 I'm a little OCD when it comes to cleanliness so every car I have ever bought has been subjected to a deep clean, even brand new cars. End of a few days of intensive car cleaning with BMW waxed, Merc fully machine polished and waxed and today was the Westfields turn in readiness for a North Wales trip on Tuesday Front wheels off, cleaned and waxed, full clean and checkover of all suspension, bodywork clayed, prepped and topped off with a layer of Mitchell and King Japan, a lovely soft wax that I borrowed from a friend, not that the 20+ waxes I already have would not have done but always keen to try different ones 11 Quote
CraigHew Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 The shine looks really nice, however the North Wales roads, certainly from the Whitchurch area, have such liberal amounts of cow-sh*t it wont remain clean for very long. Where you heading? Quote

Where you heading? Meeting up with friends in Corwen then doing the Evo Triangle and the roads around them, making sure not to miss out the B4391 1 Quote

Rednop1 Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 not sure I would be going out if you have a OCD. the weather we have coming up over the weekend and the extra road salt they will be using it will have a field day on your wishbones and chassis Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Time to stock up on the ACF50, and don’t put the car’s away dirty after the blat. Quote
Nic Chase (NICO) - Shropshire & Mid-Wales AO Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 ACF50 is good stuff. I’ve been using it since you recommended it’s few years ago. 1 Quote

It might not look pretty, but it does help stop the nasty chemicals getting to the vulnerable steel. - Which reminds me, I really need to give mine a proper going over. 1 Quote
CosKev Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 What does it look like the ACF50 once applied? Quote
