You'll need to 'speak' with Julie. She is the area organiser for the Peak District and does a fantastic job.

Isn't Gary running the Derby/not meet up at shardlow near the A50 anymore?

P.s. ditch the heater you will never need it. The underslung exhaust and massive gearbox will warm your whole body on any day you can safely drive a small beastie like that.;)

I would agree, not sure a heater will be required on the days I take it out for a balst

Don't know who Gary is but I do know that Julie Hall is the Peak District coordinator and does a fantastic job. If you fancy a trip listed on this site it doesn't matter who has organised it you would be welcomed. Another thing is to join the NWKCOC on Facebook. They also organise trips out but for all types of kit cars.

I have no doubt Julie will be in contact. She is currently away on one of her 52 holidays that she also manages  to get in a year!

Garry (Bunn) is the Derby and Notts AO, and they certainly do still meet up!

Rest assured you'll be most welcome at any and every Area Meet you visit.

There's no division of club membership between areas and no one is tied to any one particular area; some members in dpfact don't really do the "meet thing", and that's ok, though they do miss out on a lot ;) but equally, many members visit several different areas on a regular basis, and many of us go on runs with different areas, regardless of whether they're big, formal multi area runs, or not. It doesn't matter as long as everyone is enjoying themselves.

We try to be as inclusive and welcoming as posssible, where ever people are joining events from, it really is a case of the more the merrier.
