sgilks Posted October 2, 2003 Share Posted October 2, 2003 Folks, I have a couple of sets of twin 45 carbs available for sale, they are Dellorto 45 DHLAs straight off running cars (Lotus Elite/Excel). One set is jetted for a 2.2l 180bhp engine (37mm chokes), the other jetted for a 2l 160bhp engine (35mm chokes) but I would always recommend a rebuild kit (£20) and a rolling road session to get the best out of any carb setup. As a rough guide 35mm chokes are good for up to ~180bhp and 37s for ~220 (unless someone has better figures). I may have some other chokes if you really need something different. £160 per set + p&p (£10) or collect from Coventry area.
