Has anyone got a Low line scuttle for sale in good condition as mine isn't to clever

I stand to be corrected... but i changed my lowline to a highline bonnet and nose cone and the scuttle is fine with either.

May make it easier finding a highline scuttle thats all

cheers Greggs..

You might be right but I think it has to be the early chassis one

Yeah, I suspect you're both right; the lowline car has a different nose and bonnet to a high line version. But the scuttle does have to be the right bodywork version. I would guess it will be at least "kit" bodywork? (As opposed to the later, and still current ZK bodywork).

Kit and ZK are both wide body varients Dave so neither would fit a narrow regardless of whether it be hi or low line.

All narrows had the same bodywork style so as already said above any narrow scuttle should work with either the hi-line or lowline bonnet variations.

Interesting, i bought a narrow bonnet once by accident, it was definitely the same as a ZK (wide) bonnet in all respects bar width. (It's why I didn't twig till I got it home from Bristol!) Does that mean all narrows have had full returns for bonnet pins and the mouldings for the locating blocks on the tub?

All Westfield narrow bodywork should be similar in appearance to the "kit" wide. There are some aftermarket companies that i'm aware of though that had done some variations and a few chopped and narrowed wides.

No this was a brand new, never fitted, never cut, spare that the owner had bought for his build. (Still had Westfield mould stickers etc under the laminate inside).

Curious, i don't know then.  Narrows never had the large return flange and mounting blocks so no idea what you were sold.

Panic over Westfield are making me one.
