The health check didn't show anything as expected. On the drive home the car did feel different and a bit peppier. So I will run it and keep an eye on it. Lex have said they will reccomend a repair centre to strip and examine the car should it be required again (not an Arnold Clark dealership surprise surprise). When you gave the symptons that's what it sounded like to me, good to hear it is fixed. It should actually be fine now. Quote
Steve (sdh2903) Posted March 18, 2017 Author Posted March 18, 2017 I have to say it's not a particular issue with ford, it's Arnold Clark in general. Their after support attitude is diabolical. I mean the guy on reception was making excuses before they had even looked at it. I'm hamstrung slightly as it's a lease car and they specify main dealer maintenance. I didn't tell the Mrs what they had done to it and she came in earlier and said it was much better. Unless it was the thread had let go on the clamp it wasn't anything obvious. And it asks the question why it wasn't spotted the first time it was in. But hey ho looks like it's sorted which is the main thing. Quote
Thrustyjust Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 I believe there is a lot of disgruntled Arnold Clark threads on Pistonheads. Almost saying the same as you Steve , so seems par of the course. Quote
DonPeffers Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 I Google searched Arnold Clark reviews and there is reading material, the accuracy of which I cannot comment on. Quote
