Phil J Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Hi, I have taken on an unfinished prelit and I am now building it to pass IVA so need a collapsible steering column, has anyone got one or can you point me in the right direction to buy something useable. Thanks.
Thrustyjust Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 You can use the factory collapsible steering wheel hub, as long as it fits the column spline and crash padded steering wheel. They do come up in the for sale area when people pass IVA or buy new . That's all that is needed for modern cars in IVA. Have a look at Gary Tippings Pre lit early build for ideas and inspiration.
