Just tried to look at some old results on the WSCC website and it has changed (I'm sure it was the old version earlier this week). Possibly still to be published in the new format but all the previous years results have gone.

Tried same myself yesterday. Hopefully all will come back in due course?? Please :)

OK folks - the Speed Series previous results pages will need to be rewritten to suit the new site design. This will take a bit of doing though - as they are in a very different format, are quite involved and have a lot of data in them!

So in the mean time - I have found where the old versions are buried and here's some links for you.

NOTE: the left hand navigation WILL NOT WORK. The links are no longer correct and you will not be able to navigate using them!

The top right menu seems to be intact - so in theory you should be able to access the required info.

I'm sure Tigger and Andy will have some ideas on how to add this archived data back in, so will leave that to them - but for now hope this helps:

Apologies, as Chris says, this all to do with the very much need public facing website updates which was my doing and the committee's agreement to proceed with making live, we could not live with the old site any longer.

Please continue to report these things here and we will address them as time allows. It would be helpful to qualify why you think something should be there or not be there - it's your website chaps...

On the specifics around SS results, do you want last years only (I would think so) or all previous years too? Would a PDF or Spreadsheet  made available to download suffice for previous years?

Posted

Agree Andy

Previous one year as was.

Then all other historical years as a download excel file link would be fine.

Hi Andy,

We would want all previous years accessible.  I would say last years in the normal format but a spreadsheet download for all previous years  (including the last) would be great.

I use the results archive in a number of ways...

As a member of SSOT to look at historical trends and results.

As a SS competitor to see previous years times and to compare myself with how others have done.

As Tigger compiled them, it would be worth asking him if he already had the past ones in .xls or .xlsx or .pdf format that he can give you.  Might save a lot of time.

Of course, if you'd already figured that out, I'll just shut up now and go away... :getmecoat::laugh:

Agreed, Tigger and I are in regular contact as we work through updates to the new site so we'll add this to the list.

Yes we need full access to all the results and events on order to check records and other important data for all competitors

Old website with results intact can be linked to from www.wscc.co.uk/results.htm
