When its coming together I can pop over can calculate some springs and dampers for you while i have a nose if you have non in the kit.. Mostly these sorts of kits come with generic valved stuff and isn't to clever really. A while back I was provided with some copied Newton original C type damper drawings to reproduce for some one trying to make a 100% continuation replica and had got all the drawings from somewhere. I'm assuming yours like most replicas they are in keeping with Jaguar buy using Jag suspension, IRS etc but not C type suspension. Quote

CL290005 Posted February 8, 2017 Author Posted February 8, 2017 Yes I think a thread is easier I will start that and bring you up to date where I am, so please bear with me on that but hopefully I will sort out soon and as cleggy says I do post about it every now and again on Facebook Where do I get the time from, well I'm in the fortunate postion where I was able to take early retirement ( I'm not that old LOL) so now I look for opportunities for myself to enjoy the things I love to do. Plus try to help others where I can hence the C type project his now running. 1 Quote
