Olliebeak Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Had a stick on but could never get it to lie flat, I went back to a normal plate below the grille but it is bent upwards on the brackets so hopefully acts as a bit of a spoiler/splitter. Dont know if it works but it also helps deflect air through the rad. Quote
jjem53 Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 have had my westfield 3&1/2 years never put one on , took a stick on with me showed the MOT man he was happy Quote
DE04* Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 I've had a stick on plate on the front nose since 2010 with no issue. But I do bolt a real plate on the front when I go for MOT,it wouldn't last long before it would get knocked off. Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 My old business partner had an ancient Westfield for a while, it had an old non-reflective stick on front plate, and would fail it's not everytime if he forgot to put his regular screw on front plate on. Quote

The easiest way to get your stick on plate to lie flat : Make up a strong solution of washing up liquid in a mug wipe it over your nose cone with a sponge, wipe the back of your number plate, you will then be able to slide the plate where ever you want it. You will be able to remove any air bubbles whilst it's wet once your happy with the position and you've smoothed out the bubbles just leave it to dry out. Quote
CosKev Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 I think as long as you use standard sized digits and a reflective backing you won't get any bother off the Police, unless of course they pull you over for something stupid and want to pin something on you Quote
