European transportation

Can anyone help me , I am looking at bringing a car to the UK from Italy , it is not road legal so needs to be transported . As it is rather an unusual car that could be easily damaged I am looking for some quotes for bringing it back for me .

Yes I've done the google search and asked some people but am an interested if anyone can recommend a firm they have used before .

When we unfortunately sent the 4.2 V8 to the grave from the RS4 on the nurburgring we used these guys. Really helpful and normally get a few cars together in Europe first before returning to the UK to cut the cost. Was about £600 when he had a couple to bring back could of done next day for £1500 obviously Italy is a fair bit further so you may have a cardiac arrest when you get a price so make sure your sitting down .

Cheers much appreciated I've had a few quotes much of what I expected but I haven't had one of Lizard so I'll give them a shout but always like to use recommendations
