Help with STD Westfield seat install

Recommended Posts

Hi

so I found myself a set of almost new STD seat for my SEiW. i also went to my local car shop and got myself a set of runners.

Thinking that all would fit is started the task of bolting everything in, only to find that nothing fitted. the runners would not fit the seats and the runners would not go in the holes in the floor pan.

I messed around for a few hours trying to make them but gave up when I could get to the bolts to bolt the seats in and I now have come to the conclusion that not all runners are the same......

I have looked on the Westfield parts page only to find that they don't sell runners, so now I'm here hoping someone can point out my stupidity and tell me how to fix this.

Help please

I used these on my JK's

Not sure they are suitable for your seats but should be able to make them work.

I had to bend the handle so they were closer together & redrill the floor.

And you will more than likely need to re drill the floor

It's a Kit Car, everything has to be adapted.      You need to measure the width between the bottom fixing rails and go searching for the runners to suit.  You can buy some that are not linked together and therefore they will suit any width of seat.     Yes, you'll need to drill something to fit to the floor.

I've got a spare set of runners, if you want them for one seat only, but they are for a Westfield XI, so I don't know if they will be the same dimensions.
